Visits to several government organizations, museums, research institutions, enterprises, and rural sites are one of the key components of the Contemporary China Studies Program.

The first visit of this semester was to KR Space, a Chinese co-working service platform. With co-working spaces in 12 major Chinese cities, KR Space is the largest company of this kind in China and it is currently expanding in the Asia-Pacific market.

KR Space is located in Innoway street, an international platform that incubated over 2900 startups.

It was a great opportunity for our students to gain a broader understanding of this booming sector and explore Zhongguancun, "China's Silicon Valley".
